4 days now not drinking rockstars or caffeine in general going strong!
There is no reason to have a plan B, cause all it does is distract from plan A

Nice! I kicked the same addiction back in late December/early January, a few months after joining the forum. Went from 2 Monsters/Rockstars a day to none!

Keep it up man, you'll feel SO much better when you don't need that shit anymore.

Good job. I think getting rid of "energy" drinks/soda is one of the best single things to improve your health. Unless, of course, you smoke, then that would be even better to quit. No caffeine myself for about a year and it's great.

^Because it's poison. That's why it has a diuretic effect; your body does not want it.

If those testimonials aren't enough, I too have kicked the habit of energy drinks (actually about the same time...4 days or so?) along with fixing 96% of my diet. The best advice I can give is:
After a few weeks or so, when you're confident in your ability to not have them and no longer have an extreme desire to have one, you may be at a point where you think it'll be nice to 'treat yourself' to one just for that time being.

While some people may be able to do that without much issue, I personally donn't recommend it.
I have a terrible time, because that 1 drink on that 1 day turns into just 2 then next day and so on and so forth. It starts to re-build the habit.
Next thing you know, you're fighting your ass off again just to resist them and have basically pushed yourself back to the start.

Keep it up! Your testimonial has also helped remind me to not slip from this point on, too. Thanks :]
