Well I got my wisdom teeth out on Monday. So I can't really train. I'm going to consider these past three days a well deserved rest haha. I've just been doing some pretty low-key stuff, like pushups, situps, planches... nothing too thrilling.  :P The end. Bleh.

When's the last time you took a rest week?

Well i don't know what (If any) figures there are on rest days for people training primarily endurance, but I would suggest taking a rest week within the month.

Life is too short for rest weeks haha. But I probably should take it easy more often.  :)

Well I woke up this morning and my mouth was bleeding again.  :( (wisdom teeth extraction yuuuuck) and I was like... damn. No training today I guess.

But a half hour ago I had this adrenaline burst and I JUST COULDN'T CONTROL MYSELF haha so I went up to the local elementary school and did some vaults, wall climbs, and cat leaps. I ran a mile, too.

And, praise the good lord, my mouth didn't bleed and I didn't swell up like a hamster!!!  ;D

Hallelujah. I'm back in business.  ;) Parkour, baby, here I come. Finally. Another day of not training and I might have died. No joke.

I just did mostly conditioning today. For some reason I got really tired really fast though. My parents said it was because of my surgery, but that was a week ago.  ??? Oh well.

10x5 pushups
5x2 pullups
50x2 squats
50x4 sit-ups

I attempted a handstand today (I haven't done those in SO LONG) and I got into handstand position and it was like... instant fail. I basically did a faceplant into the carpet. So after trying to hold a handstand for more than a second, I gave up and surrendered to using a wall. Then I watched TV and did a handstand against the wall during commercial breaks.  :P

And that concludes my 'training' for the day.

Well I think I'll just update my log with every bit of physical activity I've done this past week.

I joined the cross country team because 1. There has to be some benefit in xc that I can use in parkour 2. Running is fun and 3. I was blackmailed by my friends to join. So I now go to practice everyday after school from 3-6 pm and run anywhere from 4-8 miles. It's pretty intense. And awesome.

As for training, well, the past week I've been kind of bad about it. I'd come home from cross country and literally collapse onto by bed exhausted. I was just whipped. But I figure as the season goes on I'll just get stronger and I'll have more energy for training after cross country practice.  :)

I think the only training I did this week was yesterday I chilled and trained with Christian and Mer at the Denver Tech Center.  ;D It was the highlight of the week. Maybe even the month. I can't wait to train with them again!!!!

The end.   :)
