Hey all, now that the initial crowd has died down, and I've gotten a better feel for how things are set up at the gym, I'm hoping to get a group together for some serious conditioning at least once a week. With the equipment available to us down there I think we've got some opportunities for conditioning that we really can't get anywhere else (COPK has turned me on to some brutal bar hang endurance). Anyone interested should let me know, as I certainly need more of this myself. Participation and input (workout ideas, etc.) are all welcome. Hope to see more of you soon.

And on a side note, if anyone's actually interested, I'm going to mountain center tonight.

Sounds interesting, What's your plan?

I'd like to set aside 20 minutes or so at the end of open gym hours for some good workouts. There's tons of opportunities for exercises we can't really do many places (dead hang stuff, pistol walks, etc.) I'll be doing the first one tomorrow night (Thursday). To start, I'm thinking five minutes QM and a half-angie. You should come if you can Logan, we can train all around and bounce ideas. The possibilities are endless.

So here's an idea. I know of a few good places around Fort Collins, Other then CSU (tho CSU can be included) that would be great for some Gauntlet-esk conditioning. Places that could be cool for Parkour but don't have as many diverse spots like CSU does. What if we did an actual conditioning night? Like on a Tuesday or something? A little bit of technique drilling, a little bit of rough conditioning, a good hour's worth of solid work-out. I know I couldn't do them all, too busy, but what if we rotated "leadership" between a few of us. When it's that person's time they figure out the place and some work outs for the night. We all meet at 7p and see where it goes from there? Thoughts?

I like that idea, the first step would be to get a lay on schedules so we can get rolling. I'm free most Tuesday and Thursdays, and I head down to mountain center on those nights anyway, so I could lead something on those nights.

K. I'm gonna start another thread and see what people are looking for and what their schedules are :-)

Like i said on another form i would be down if people wanted to condition and train at the gym, we should get a set time or a least try and make a weekly session.
