INDY JAM 09 West Lafayette
« on: February 15, 2009, 10:02:07 PM »
Greetings,
This originally wasn't going to be posted here but since attendance seems to be growing and I've had several requests to spread this nationally, I am making this JAM national. I am hosting a JAM in West Lafayette, IN at Purdue University’s campus on March 28-29th. If you have facebook, the link to the event is: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=49634757298&ref=mf
The facebook site includes a link to a map that highlights a few of the areas we will hit during the JAM. The original APK thread is http://www.americanparkour.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,159/topic,15243.0/%20
Although the JAM doesn’t start until Saturday, it is recommended that people arrive Friday afternoon if they want to scout some of the areas as well as meet and greet early. Arriving Friday will also help everything go a lot quicker on Saturday morning. If you plan to stay the entire time, here are the items you should bring:
-Sleeping bag
-Pillow
-Toiletries
-Money/Food
-Change of clothes

As of now the tentative schedule is as follows:
Friday: Meet and greet, Scouting, Practice
Saturday: Meet and greet for new arrivals, Conditioning, Practice, Workshop
Sunday: Conditioning, Practice/Spot and Play, Workshop

If you need to contact me please email rmontalv@purdue.edu or get a hold of me on facebook, just type the email in the search engine.

I really think this is going to be one of the best jams we’ve had in indy so far and I hope to see some new faces there.

~Raven

Mapquest says it's less than 3 hours away, so I'll probably be there for this.  Probably with a few others from Chicago as well.  So yeah, assuming nothing crazy comes up, I should be there.

Good to hear IN will be having her first National Jam. Supra excited.
I posted on the IN forums, but I'll do it again here too...just in case w/e.  ::)

I think I will be coming to this, really I have no reason not to.
I'm talking to Sainaa/Airflowe right now about possibly picking him up,
maybe KyleRyan too...not sure yet.

But I can bring a tent and some sleeping bags, and def. can pitch in for
a dinner night.

I'm coming from NWI IN, the only other traceurs near me are Aladdin and Blank,
and if I go, 99.9% Blank will go and vice-versa. I'll let you know for sure as it
get's closer to JAM TIME BABY!!!!!!!

Yeah. There should be a few of us coming from PKFR Int'l / Team Sanjuu; me, Mike, Michael, Aaron, Justin, Alex, Gwho, and Joe. I think...
Just have to check the schedule and make sure nothings planned but hopefully some of us will make it.

Me and some people might be coming from Michigan, but we're wondering, are we just camping outside or something? Also, will food be provided or do we need money, because a lot of people said they'll be bringing food so I might not want to bring money for no use..

We should be having a cook out on Saterday night... But bring money for lunch and breakfast Shouldn't need to much though.  Right now we are working on the camping / housing situation ... Seeing who can have people stay at their place and if we can use the prudue campgrounds *used for gameday tailgaters and campers*

So it should be a mix of camping and houses...  and bring money just incase but you may not need to use it.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant, he basically wants to drive half way there and drop his car off at someones house, who will then drive us the rest of the way there T_T. But, he might just drive the whole way, it depends on his mood. T_T.

Anyone in Michigan, Ohio, or Indy, have enough room to car pool me and some of my friends?
