Colorado parkour/freerunning teams?
« on: January 28, 2009, 04:26:36 PM »
Lately I've been hearing the names of many, many parkour/freerunning teams or groups in Colorado. Do you guys know the names of any? The only two that I know of, for sure, is this group called Team Ecclesia and the Denver Family, along with my personal team that is currently not named.

Have you guys heard of any parkour team names floating around lately? Thanks.  :)

Hmm well COPK they pretty much have a team I guess.
Then yeah Denver Family, but that is well more like a family.
And then there's....Team Tranquil in the Springs I think?
And thats about all I can think of....

COPK. Yeah, I would count them as a team/group. I've never heard of Team Tranquil, though.

why do you need a team if there is no competition?

Denver Family Used to be Flux Freerunning, which sounds much cooler, in my opinion.

Haha, no no!!!! I was just wondering if there were any groups/teams around that do parkour or freerunning. I'm not asking for competition purposes, just wondering what teams/groups exist in Colorado.  ;)

I think team names are used in order to refer to a group of people who train in an area and always have certain people always together when training. Names make it easier and avoid mix-up if there are 2 groups always training in the same area but are never there at the same time.
:p
The group I train with, we don't have a name either...yet?

I'm game for team epic.
It'll be.... epic.
The goal, the goal is something that shines bright.

But the path, the path seems to be the only fun part of any of it anymore.  Winding, twisting: over, under, and through.  My means and my jorney, is that where the true goal shines?

I'm going to move to Guymon, OK ::) I'll try to set up a team maybe with some new friends. OKC sounds awesome too, but it's a 5 hour ride so I am not going to have the chance to go that often.
If anybody is around, just hookme up. I am willing to drive as soon as I get my licence(december).
Peace
