That's because this thread is over a year old... And several similarly aged threads have been bumped today....
I stepped into a new world. I watched you fly, saw you as a friend, the spirit of dreams. I imagined a new world, lands far away and imagined those faces as you hung in their sky. I'm leaving ground, stepping into a new world.

Get creative, does your neighborhood have a playground?
If so, use that.
Good luck :D

IM not hating, but seems alot of younger people have been posting here. Im not your parents(only 18), but ive read several threads about how if you put to much stress on your body(like parkour) your can stunt your growth. so i would suggest conditioning. just keep that in mind guys if you want to be doing parkour into your old(er) age.

I'm fourteen, will be fifteen in Nov. I'm not going to start really freerunning with others, until I'm sixteen, cuz then I'll have a car. Until then its non-stop (except for breaks :) ) conditioning
But as for places to train?I head down to my neighborhood park. There is like a obstacle course down there. So I'm trying to do the basics of  Parkour ( get from point A to point be AFAP.).
I just practice what I'm confident in. Like I used the Cat balance a few hours ago to get past this haky part. Other than that  I do push ups, precisions, and jump rope in my yard. I'm still trying to do the roll :(

Dude be happy you have the suburbs. im in a rural area and i still find places to train.  fallen trees are great for precision practice not to mention kong and dash vaults.  just look around and keep an open mind, youll find stuff to work on
I'm not great at performing the movements of parkour, but I'm awesome at enjoying myself whilst I perform them to the best of my ability.
