SUCCESS Went to sleep utterly dissapointed about the forecast, (rain showers) and the fact that i am no longer going to florida didn't help.
but to my surprise i wake up at noon to see the sun shining in my face. so i quickly get changed and head to the beach/park near me to train.
felt amazing. drilling my precision fronts, dive rolls, kongs, impact training/rolls from 10 foot roof lots of ground tumbling in the grass, and a dozen backs in the steamy parking lot. i realized it was still only 2 o clock. and i was not even close to complete. so i called up my freinds in huntington and told them to meet me at hecksher park in huntington village. a quick trip back to my house to grab my camera and i was off.
but not before stopping at the park for just a second with the engine on. i set down the camera, took a deep breath and landed my first wall-inward sideflip outside! -footage is converting-
with a great omen i jumped back in my ride and loudly exited the scene. what followed was hours and hours of... well, heaven. it would take a million words to describe everything i did, but i imagine any traceur would have performed similarly, had they been forced indoors since NOVEMBER.
BUT. its finally over. good weather is on the horizon, and some pretty good tricks too .
what an absolutely fantastic start for 09, stretching will hopefully make it into my schedule tonight,
i am officially high on parkour.
finally broke 80. sort of got blurry for a second, but it almost looked like 81.
