So, I continue to feel as previously posted. Our whole household is sickly. Sad days. BUT...I think I have some handstand presses and L Sits in me today....along with some flexibility training. I won't over exert myself, but I do think staying limber is a grand idea.

Bahaha, it's cool.

I should probably reassess my workout regiment to make sure I am efficiently working toward my set goals.

BTW, Kungfu is cancelled indefinitely, as there was a dispute between the building owner and the sifu....I don't know what happened but there won't be any classes until the holiday season is over at the earliest.

Some major drama stuff that I don't care too much about or want to get into went down/is going down with the Kung Fu class.

Long story short, I taught today's class and will be teaching Thursday's class. I get to train for free this month. Badass.

my computer is back up and going now.

I damaged my feet in Kung Fu....I was free sparring with a buddy and I kicked his elbows (1st mistake) with terrible form (2nd mistake) which bruised my right foot, not a big deal, and destroyed my left foot. I had X-Rays taken and the whole shabang. I am pretty sure it is fine....I think I just damaged the tendons and muscles something fierce, I have been off it for about 4 or 5 days. It feels like it will be back to 100% any day now (here's hoping)

I will be posting my work outs on here if my PC stays lucid. I will most likely be working on flexibility and upper body strength due to my feet.

APK warmup.

:: Last night was Kung Fu. We did free sparring. I was figuring that the instructor and the star pupil would wreck me and make me look silly. Not the case. I started with the instructor, then the star pupil, then the other pupils and defeated them all. I was shocked and pretty pumped.  ::

So, for the last few days I have been doing L-Sit pull ups. The first day I did about 6. The second day I did 12. Today I am at 6 and plan to do alot more throughout the day. I have been doing handstand push ups, squats, modified burpess (jump, front lean rest on fingertips, fingertip push up, recover, jump and split kick my hands repeat), and stretching. I should start doing dips too, now that think about it.

I have been working hard during Kung Fu Class, and I am pushing our instructor and my peers to lean more toward conditioning as we progress.
Below will be the steps of the modified Burpee as I could find the nearest relating picture.

Starting Jump  to
Fingertip-Front Lean Rest Position/Push Up  to
Recover  to
Split Kick
Repeat

I have been indulging in some sweet treats as of late. I don't want to go through life ignoring the delicious aspects of living, though I do want to stay in good shape. I figure, I don't need 5% body fat to be happy. As long as I am losing weight in a healthy way (dropping down to 175-185) I can be happy with how I am.

NOTE: Current weight has leveled at 205lbs. I need to get back into eating right and not be so slack. Haha. I need to drink MORE water and get back onto a work out routine.

EDIT:
I have done 55 L Sit Pull Ups throughout today. Sets of 5. It feels pretty taxing but pretty nice.

I've been excelling at kung fu and flexibility. I have been lightly training, doing low impact core workouts such as my modified Burpee, L Sit Chin Up, and the like. I need to work on my handstands.

I worked on my B Kicks a bit. The weather is getting better so I think taking the family out downtown for me to train a bit is a likely option.

I have been praying alot, meditation and relaxation. Prioritizing is nice. Having everything in its set place.

100% yes...Also  work alot alot alot on balance. When your body has proper balance, your muscles are able to then relax and stretch properly. If your muscles are straining to keep balance, you won't progress as well. Using a substitute like a wall or a chair is acceptable, but you do not want to have a lasting crutch, so get rid of it when you can do it halfway decent on your own.

You should also do these stretches  --- as you progress you should do small circles for each direction

FRONT LEG STRETCH
SIDE LEG STRETCH
BACK LEG STRETCH

Do this for each leg for the same allotted time. If you're doing circles, do the same amount of circles or do circles for the same allotted time.
Once you have decent balance, you can start raising your legs.
