Man, I wasn't planning on going to Kung Fu last night.

I did my warm up work out yesterday (which kicked my butt more than I planned) and the L Sit Chin Ups, Dips, etc.

Today I am sore, so I am going to do a little work out and stretch all day. This weekend will be a rest weekend, and I will start anew Monday with a workout regiment.

Monday on, Tuesday on, Wednesday off, Thursday on, Friday on, Saturday maybe, Sunday off. That is the plan.

REST DAY

Was going to go for a run today, but decided against it due to ice and obligations. It is Scarlett's 1st birthday party (her bday was Thursday), and we have ALOT to do.

Have fun with all that you do, guys.

I am a bit under the weather today, but I am still stretching and plan to do some moderate exercises. Who knows, maybe I will go for a run later- bundled up.

2 minutes of

Push Ups- 51

Sit Ups- 60

Timed

Assisted Handstand- 51sec

Default Sitting Position-  1min 20sec

Counted

L Sit Pull Ups-  25

Man, I need to rest and conserve my energy to beat this cold. Bleh - debating on the run later.

Decided...no run today. It isn't good to push myself when I am fighting a cold.

The whole family is still sick. I am getting over it, thanks to God. Going to Lowe's to get the materials for the vault box today. I don't know if I have said that I was doing that prior, but after a few delays and disappointments we are finally ready to purchase and pick up that mats.

Prayer/Meditation

We got back from the one week vacation in Florida on the 10th. I am going to get back into a structured work out routine and reestablish my dedication to it. I start work on the vault box this week.
Recently I have been working on the B-Twist. I just need to work on getting my hips higher, and I have it. I have the rotation down. Video to follow. I also plan on working on kip ups from the ground to standing.
The weather is looking up so I can take my little lady out downtown to train with me. She is just over a year so, that is a concern. She is awesome though...climbing and ready to start some parkour herself.

                                        20sec intervals with 10sec rests

Push Up clapping                                        12+06+07                                25 reps
Dips                                                            20+25+24                                69 reps
Burpees                                                     10+10+11                                 31 reps
V Ups                                                         14+15+18                                 47 reps
Push Ups declined w/knee high                 05+05+03                                 13 reps ea.

                                                            Timed

Handstand wall assist                        0 min 49 sec    (collectively)
DSP                                                    2 min 02 sec
Front Plank                                        1 min 12 sec
R/L Plank                                           1 min 00 sec    (each)

Diet

Breakfast

20 oz.  Lipton Tea (brewed not microwaved)
52 oz.  Water
52 oz.  Shake made of:  1 banana, 1 orange, 4 strawberries, 1 serving of berry rice protein, 4 oz. yogurt, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup orange juice, 4 oz. grapes.   I think that's it.

Lunch

can of progresso chicken noodle soup (traditional)
approximately 10 honey pretzel sticks
bowl of cereal
a bag of baby carrots

Dinner
cheese tortellini, green beans, creamy marinara sauce,

_____ Note: Since I started "getting in shape" I have rounded off/plateaued at 200#-206#. When I got back from my vacation I was 208# (which I anticipated a gain due to the lack of conditioning and splurging on meals)
If I don't see a leaner figure after a month or so I will require some assistance. I need a bit of encouragement staying on track, too. Man, I can't wait for the vault box to be completed (waiting on time to meet up with brother in law to cut the wood etc.)
