The video is edited. Took me five minutes. I was trying to get some music on their but my iTunes files are giving me a run for my money. If I can't get them on there tomorrow with about 15minutes worth of trying, I will just post it as is.

Prayed/meditated

Today is Kung Fu. I was pretty lazy today. I stretched a little, but no real work out today. I will do some training during Kung Fu.

[Edit:] I did B Kicks today, worked alot on jumping, outside crescent kicks in combination, and did alot of flexibility training. It was controlled sparring day, where we applied techniques learned with proper execution.

So, I made a video with some music. Youtube decided that they were going to mute me so I re posted it on Google+.   You can watch the muted version or the full version. The full version is posted so you may have to scroll the Google+ to find it.

Good start.  Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. The dip is where you draw your power.  You're barely bending over, so you should really focus on bringing your upper body down farther.  You don't need to pull a Jujimufu-drag-your-head-on-the-ground, but you should definitely be getting lower.
2. Your arms are very important in the butterfly.  As you lift and kick, your arms pull backwards so that your chest can extend upwards and outwards.  Watch some Tae-Kwon Do videos to see what I'm talking about.  Butterflies are incredibly dynamic, so all of your body should be involved.
3. Straighten your legs.  I have trouble with this, myself.  Avoid the tendency to bend at the knee when you kick and lift off.  Doing this will make your moves look neater, and you may end up getting more horizontal in the air.
4. The run up and set are also very important for getting power.  If you ever want to ramp this up into a butterfly twist, you should work on your steps and your body position.  It's true that people can bust out a standing B-twist, but it is much easier to learn the move if you have some more momentum.

If you want to help with your height, you should try getting your body over a few stacked pads.  I'm sure your dojo has some practice mats lying around somewhere.  Set them up at about waist height and see if you can get over them.  Increase the number of pads as you get more and more comfortable with the move.

That's all I've got.  Let me know if you have any questions, and keep me posted on your progress.

Nice! Looks a lot like my B kicks. I'll take those pointers into consideration also, Steve, thanks!

Those aren't bad at all, but they could be so much more.  Your rear leg is whipping well, but the leading one should essentially "carve" the path for it.  Most of this (as Steve said) is the dip.  Get your head lower, and the rest should work out much better.  You have reasonable flexibility, or else the back leg wouldn't be as high.  Once you get the concept of "making a path" for these, they'll come out much better.

The same concept applies to most tricking kicks.  A 540 is all about setting up the correct hip angle with the leading leg, even though it's the trailing one that creates the kick.  Good training, keep it up.

Thanks so much for your great feedback!

Yeah, I am currently working on lowering my torso down and straightening the legs through and through. I will take into account my arm retraction and chest expansion.

Thank you all again SO much!

Today

Kung Fu for 3 1/2 hours where we did flexibility training, kicks, sparring, pistols, push ups, cardio, B Kicks, vaults, and rolls. I was taught some Kung Fu and in return I taught some Parkour.
It was good, clean fun. I am super sore now. So, that is pretty awesome. I am looking forward to tomorrow, my rest day.
I was feeling shitty for not doing my work out routine the past few days, but then I thought, "Hey, I trained Kung Fu Tues., Thurs. and today, I trained Parkour Friday, and I did some workout on the 26th or whatevers."
So, meh. Monday I will begin anew with another crack at my work out routine. Tuesday will be the same with some Kung Fu training. Wednesday I plan on resting. Thurs.-workout+Kung Fu, Friday-Workout, and Saturday/Sunday Rest. That is my plan. We will see how it goes.
Sometime this week I will revamp my Goals, too.

I went to work out, but my muscles and tendons said, "Don't! We're going to tear!" So, I am trying to just relax them and workout tomorrow before Kung Fu.
