I really hope the scene down here gets bigger, because I want to learn more about down there. If you ever need random advice you can't find an answer to you are open to this thread, or you can contact me in the Indiana board. We would love to see you saying hi there. Come on guys lets get parkour going in Arkansas! WOOT! ;D

Lol, it is going holmes. I am just one of the few people with an account on APK and it seems like one of the only clans but we have about 14 people. I told most of my team to create accounts, we are just having some difficulties with some accounts being created. It's getting bigger don't worry.
Aren't we all running?

I finally got mine made. I'm Brad, from Emperor. I live in North Little Rock, and go to Little Rock to parkour some when I'm at home.

Lol, I was sure that it was going, just don't see much action on the boards. I am glad you are getting your team involved with APK. It is good to see the community grow. It is good to meet the both of ya =)

Guys...we've got to start getting the word out about this. As you have probably seen, Arkansas doesn't have a lot of experienced traceurs. I know there are lot of individuals haven't been doing PK for very long in Arkansas, but it makes it harder for those who want to greatly improve when they don't have anyone around giving them ideas, correcting, complimenting.
I started about a month ago and I was doing some practical things that I was benefiting from, but just a few days ago I met up with some guys who were a few years younger than me and I wasn't sure what to expect, but the help I got, new ideas, etc was incredibly valuable.
My suggestion would be to really talk PK up this summer to your friends, even if they don't go to the same school as you. Start asking people who aren't doing much this summer if learning PK would be something they were interested in. I'm seriously considering giving a strong attempt at starting a PK clan at my university in the Fall. It never hurts to ask but I know it will hurt not to ask because in my opinion, training alone is nowhere near as beneficial as training with a group.
I just wanted to throw that out there and I know this will take a long time to get it where it needs to be. I know I don't want to go to a national Jam somewhere and have people ask me "So where are you from?" and I be hesitant to reply with "Arkansas."
Even if one person reads this and gets their buddy into PK, I think my post is worth it. Take it for what it's worth.

Don't hate me because I killed you.

meh, Their are plenty of Individuals here, but no groups. I started a team about 1 years ago called BNC Parkour (Bentonville Ninja Crew).

I can get people inspired but they never train on there own, and they never want to go to meets and its hard. I think the most people Ive ever had together at once was 6 but that was only one day.

I finally found some money for college and will go to the U of A for 2nd Semester and it is an Amazing Parkour Environment. I will definitely build a great team out of there and get some activity going.

Hey, I'm seeing a lot of Little Rock guys, but is there anyone doing any sort of parkour at the U of A. I have a pretty nonexistent group in Searcy, but it is limited somewhat by the lack of any really good places... But, I'm moving up to Fayetteville this fall and am interested in starting/joining a group where the real promise is. Let me know, muchas gracias.

Yep, I and a few others are down in the Fayetteville/Springdale area. I'd love to train with you some time, as I'm sure some of the others would too. You could contact Mechamoth as well. Just a question (You don't have to answer it if you don't want too) what's your age? I've noticed it varies. Mecha is around 15, I'm 13, and I think some of the others are also around 15.

Man, I see right where you're coming from. Tried starting a group, but the whole going to practice thing never clicked for them. Instead, they played 360's and got fat. The idea of parkour to them was amazing, but they deemed that living it out was out of their reach. I had as many as 5 show up, but it was very sporadic and uneven and noone besides myself got any better. Anyways man, keep in touch and let me know of any updates you got on PK up there. I got Facebook (Nathan Nicholson) and MSN (nathansfolder@live.com) in case your interested.
