I will be visiting D.C. in the spring.
« on: December 19, 2008, 05:07:03 PM »
Around spring break time I will visit the great spot of D.C. This is a school event so I don't know what kind of practice I will be able to get in.. I will have my camera with me the whole time just in case. We will be stopping at a bunch of spots like the air space museum and other things. Is it legal for me to kong things around there? What are your experiances with the law around there. Do they mind much?
A bad traceur does a move untill he gets it right. A great traceur does it untill he is not able to get it wrong.

I will be with school and not allowed to leave the group so I just was wondering if the cops care much.

Hey Matt-

Awesome that you're coming to DC! We generally avoid doing stuff on the mall and near the monuments just so we don't rile the park police too much.  If you want to know what's around, check out the hotspots listing on our local site: http://sites.google.com/site/dcmetroparkour/

That being said, we have played on the walls around Union Station a few times and never run into trouble there.

Good luck, and if you get some free time while you're in DC, post it up on the Mid-Atlantic forum - most f us don't check the DC-only forum.
