Anyone going to CATS gym tomorrow?
« on: December 19, 2008, 04:18:20 PM »
Not sure if I can make it but I will definately try. Anyone else going? Or does everyone go to the Monday night open gym?

Another thing. I saw that Colorado Parkour will be having open gyms. The link is down now but I will check into that. Anyone know anything more about that?

Ryan,

Quick question, are these open gyms going to be at cross fit? Or somewhere else? Thanks.

they are going to start out at Gym Riki in Denver. We might add another one at Boulder CF later.

You should! We are about to order $5000 of gymnastics equipment. Mats, blocks, wall pads, tumble track. Bringing together the best of real life obstacles, fitness/weight training equipment, and gymnastics safety equipment for one kickass open gym.  8)

That sounds amazing. When do you expect to get this equipment?

It is a 30 foot inflatable tumble track (specially made for gymnastics) that we can theoretically set up anywhere we want to (even outdoors at jams). The jujitsu floor in Gym Riki is about 40 feet long so it'll work nicely. We won't have a normal trampoline but we might get a springboard.

I won't be at CATS tomorrow since its my parents bday celebration. If anyone is going, be sure to call first to see if they are open. They usually close for a couple weeks around this time of year.

CATS is in fact closed for open hours for the next few weeks, sounds like until the fifth. Is there anywhere else around there that will still be open during that time?
