You could go to a gym, and practice in there.
Do you know of any you could go to? a gymnastics gym is the kind i'm talking about.

yea, thats pretty far.
Your parent's wouldn't take you would they?
hmmmmmm.....
I would go to the property anyway, its not like anyone is there. But you do have a backyard right? do you have a side of your house that is just a long stretch of brick wall?
I have that and i'll probably start practicing there once I start doing wall tricks. :)

Ha ha to be honest with you I'm more or less in the same position. (I live in Colorado, so snow is quite abundant.) What I've been doing is actually practicing in the snow just as I would even if it was warm and dry and stuff. After all, in parkour, who's to say that you won't need it someday and it's snowing at that time? But stay away from wet poles and wood. Working with those two is just disaster waiting to happen.

But I hear ya, man. If you don't wanna go outside then just keep doing what your doing (without the stairs if that's a problem to the wood  ;)) The most important thing is that you stay strong during the winter months! I've seen so many traceurs neglect their training during winter, and end up sucking/hurting themselves in spring. Don't be one of them!

Feel free to correct me, anyone, if this advice was incorrect or something.

Ravenous, have you tried the boards over at texasparkour.com?  You can get a good bit of information about where to train and when to train with others.

Nah, don't tresspass. It isn't a good idea because it can easily end up with you being arrested. Also, there may be some kind of hazardous situation in the building of which you are not aware. I'd say try to find out who owns it and ask them if you may use the property.

And don't mess with roofs, please. Stay where you're allowed to be. ;)

Thanks!

You don't want to give PK a bad rap with law enforcement by having them called on you for tresspassing.

This may not be the best solution but whenever i go to the mall i get to practice vaults in the parking garage on the upper level handicap ramps. I know you can't drive but if i were you i'd be tagging along anytime my family went anywhere where there may be enclosed structures you can play in while they are doing their thing.

lol snow is your problem?
i live up in alaska and the temperatures are below 0 and we can still kong vault tables. you just gotta dress really warm and wear warm grippy gloves and keep on moving to stay warm. plus the snow could also help cause it can act like a cushion if you bail from a vault or something. but yea snow is in alaska 6 months a year and we can still train. just try tolerating it a little if the cold air is the problem. with icy slippery objetcs your just gonna have to avoid them or try them if you want. also if you have enough snow you can make your own obstacles to practice on and vault over.

Learn to overcome adversity your not always goign to be given a perfect situation.... use your surroundings and adjust to the situation. Do not let an inanimate force  such as a little bit of cold weather slow you down. It's all just a mental game.

Last winter I complained alot and would go train only to get cold and discouraged. I hate the cold

This winter, Im doing things a bit differently. In the cold things hurt worse, and things can be slippery due to weather, also your body can feel stiff and sluggish.

What I did this year was try to design a good Parkour Outfit.

Here is my list:

Thermal work socks with padded soles - 4.50
K-swiss Ariake - 70$ after shipping (ebay)
Long Johns (for really cold) - 6.00
Sweat Pants - 8.00
Thermal undershirt - 6.00
APK hoodie :D (other hoodies are more cost effective) - 40.00
Nitrile Coated Work Gloves (really thin and flexible, also get them small so they fit snug) - 3.50
2 wristbands to hold my sleeves from going over my gloves - 4.00
Beanie - 5.00

This made a huge difference, I can be outside for a long time.

Even though the gloves are thin, they keep your hands alot warmer and help cut down on the sting of hitting your hands on things. The rubber stuff on the inside is very grippy and helps keep from sliding during kongs or keeping grip in climbs. It also helps alot for not tearing your hands to pieces 1 hour into your pk session.

Sweat pants can get wet in snow, but overall they work well in cold weather, the socks keep your feet warm.

Oh, and if APK ever makes a beanie, I will buy it.
