I recently saw Jump Britain and it sparked an interest in freerunning. I had already been practicing something sort of similar, I just never had a formal name for it. I have a couple of young kids and when I take them to the playground I'm not content to sit around yapping about schools and minivans like most of the other parents - I like to swing around on the monkey bars, climb on top of the swingset, etc.. It's great because I have fun and get a workout and my kids like having me run around and play with them. ... Unfortunately, I've never seen anyone else around my age do anything remotely like my playground gymanstics, or parkour, or anything of that nature. So it was very exciting seeing Sebastian Foucan in Jump Britain (and it made me think... wow, this guy is around my age --- so there are others out there like me). Anyway, I'm glad I found this forum. It's good to know there are other 30somethings (and 40 and 50somethings) out there that think climbing walls and jumping through playgrounds is fun.
