i dont know of any over there but there are a few guys here in meridian
i never thought about starting a club, that would be pretty cool...

That'd be awesome! There is a kid here at Columbia (who is also interested in free-running) who does a lot of filming - maybe he could set up some cameras for us. You might know him: Parker Barthlome. Anyways, post some potential dates, and I'll have everyone check them for compatibility.

we'll probably start thinking of some dates in the next months and all that stuff will probably be under the idaho jams thread

Hey, just letting you guys know that there is yet another person in the Boise/Meridian area who would love to jam sometime. Warning: I'm a beginner, seeing how I just started training for it. I have, however, had some martial arts training, so I may just be slightly above novice level in terms of balance and control. But only slightly.

Out of curiosity, is there an Idaho Jams thread?

Sorry i haven't been on so long, i've had a lot of school stuff to get done. But yeah alright, good to hear there are some people in the area interested. I know there are a few good spots in Nampa. I'm trying to get a parkour club started at Nampa High, but a district team would be cool too. I don't know if the other guys on my team are still interested, we haven't trained together for a while, but i'm thinkin we should get a jam going in January if possible, depending on weather. Any ideas?

Since I'm on the robotics team for the district, I'll have to get those dates sometime soon. We have 6 weeks of non-stop work starting on the third and the sooner I tell them when I'll be gone, the more likely they won't kill me. Also, I have an issue with my knees that will take (hopefully) another two weeks to heal up. If you want to hold it before then, that's alright, but I'd love to go.

i'd be able to come on any given day that works for as many people as possible. that day sounds good to me. should we meet in downtown boise? from what i've seen the areas around boise high, the grove, veteran's admin building as well as a few alleyways are probably the best places anywhere in the valley. anyone else have any good spots in mind?

the 24th won't work for me, that's when all the ski teams in the area compete at bogus, so how about the 23rd or 25th? and boise high sounds good to me, but if we want to jam locally Nampa High has some spots, as well as downtown nampa. Also at NNU

The 23rd works for me. Perhaps we should meet at 3:00 since school is still in session for most of us at 1:00. Also, I think we should start fairly local.

i donno i suggested downtown boise just cause i've been down there a few times and i could show you guys what is offered down there but it sounds like you guys wanted to do it in nampa?
