First off, I think it's great that there's some real activity starting up in SC. I'm definitly going to be posting a lot more on apk, so let's all try to keep up the communication and get some sort of training or mini-jam planned for the near future. Jams are a great way to meet people and improve in training and just your overall preception in terms of parkour. Some times all it takes is hearing or seeing how someone else approachs parkour in general or a specific movement to make it click in your own mind.
I'll be back in Greenwood, SC in mid December, but with Christmas and everything I wouldn't imagine we could do much then. I 'll be back at Clemson probably right after christmas or whenever the school year actually starts.
In terms of meeting-up I'm completely open to just about anything. I'll drive if I need to (give others lifts)and let people crash at my place if they want. I'm not really sure where the best place to have a jam would be. Columbia seems ideal considering it's in the center of SC and its fairly large so there's bound to be spots. One thing with jams is that you want to make sure the host has something in mind in terms of spots to visit and so on, since people are traveling and you want to make sure everyone gets as much training time in as possible.
Clemson's campus is pretty good, it's not the greatest place I've done parkour at but there's definitely more than enough to warrant a jam, in my opinion.
I'd like to share some advice on what beginners show work on or what conditioning I do, but right now I'm at work so I'll post that a little later.
