Also is there any possible way that we can get this jam featured on the home page, under the "events" section?

Hmm, maybe Leon could do something about it?

From the past though it seems a bit early to announce it. The last one when up about a week before if I recall corrrectly.

By the way, I just thought of this, but since many of us are in high school and college, a lot of us have facebooks.  We should create a Virginia Parkour facebook group so that the sending of messages can kinda cover all bases.  I know many people on facebook who don't have an APK account and really don't want one, so this would allow them to participate in discussions and receive messages of upcoming events.

What do you guys think?

Well Leon is working on the VAPK website, and with that I think we shall have our State community. However, of course there will be a facebook page with link and what not!

Have no fear! The site is near! (I think ???)

If Leon could get around his host troubles, I'm sure the site'll come soon.

I don't feel like getting the car that weekend or making a long drive, so if anyone wants to lift me from Alexandria, I'm all for it.  Otherwise, I'm sleeping in. :p

It will be from the 29th until the 30th. Exact details have not been worked out (i.e time, exact spot, etc.). But, those dates are the time period in which the jamming shall be occurring.

so if its 2 days were would all of us stay? unless someone is willing to host a large number of traceurs who will prolly ruin his or her house doing qms and random excersises hehe. but really this is disconcerting.

The VTPK scene has a pretty amazing number of traceurs.  I'm sure they wouldn't mind housing us for the night and in fact, I'm pretty sure that's what they were planning to do anyways.
So I don't think housing will be a major problem.

OK so we're still working out details such as housing - I'll be able to host anywhere between 10-15 people depending on how many I can fit in my apartment. Mostof the VT guys can also host people at their apartments/dorms so we probably have room for another 30 people making it up to 45 people we can host so far.

I'll get specifics and post em up soon. It'll probably be a jam where people arrive friday night, it starts Saturday morning until late afternoon, then relax/party at night, then jam sunday morning and people leave late sunday afternoon. Somewhere in there I will try fitting a gym session if they allow us to open it for the weekend (which I AM working on :) )

so yeah, it's not a 100% go yet, but its looking good  ;D

OK BIG PROBLEM!!!

When I read the dates 29-30, I figured that was the weekend after Thanksgiving break. That's actually the weekend OF thanksgiving break (thanksgiving is 27th) so a LOT of people (including myself) will not be at VT.

The date's will have to be December 5th-7th. Does that still work or are we going to need more shifting?

THank goodness we plan early =P

Wow, I'm a noob. Big mistake on my part. Why in the world would I think Thanksgiving was on the 20th???? I fail  :-[

I'm still good to go. My friend on the other hand can not come (as of right now).

Bah, sorry guys!!!

PS: Leon, I STILL have dibs on your couch.
