My Kong Progression
« on: October 08, 2008, 02:38:38 PM »
Ok so here's the deal. After I put my first Kong video up, I badly sprained my toe and had to take a break from parkour which made me sad. But I am back and my kongs are better than ever, tell me what you think about my progression. Criticism is graciously accepted.

Wow, I see the improvement. In the first video you were bringing your legs through the side, and in the second they go straight through. Good work.

get your hips up...

might be easier to learn this cue on something wider than a bench where you can really plant your hands...

sometimes the HEELS UP cue works to get the hips up...

Keep practicing.  Work on taking off split foot, and landing in stride.  Also try and make your dives longer.  Just keep doing them and get a feel for them.

the set up you had in the first one was better other than the fact that the chair was moving and yeah get your dives longer jump more before the optical and get you feet up higher. you almost wanna do a hand stand but not quite if you go to high or dive to far you can really mess up your back. there was much improvement however.

Awesome man. You know I have your exact brown couch? I went to my living room just to confirm it.
