Parkour Fever
« on: April 08, 2006, 06:16:32 PM »
I just thought of it, you know, the first few weeks or months you learned about parkour you just can't get it off your mind. I'm still there, I suppose it settles into a lifestyle later as it has for a few of my friends.
Nyah...

Definatly an obsessive state of mind that can cause temperary insanity and lusting for all things parkour/kenetic.  I personally call it The PK Bug.

I don't know about your friends but It may have gotten a bit stronger rather than just be something you do. Yes it becomes a lifestyle but that feeling has stayed for the while I have done Parkour. The best feeling is when you can't really do Parkour for a while like in the winter and you finally can go all out when the ground and things stop being wet, it feels like you should be running to Pump Up The Jam by Technotronic or something. Just listen to that song and just go all out Pk and run like there is an end to your life, that is the greatest feeling in the history of  my life :-\ ::) ;) ;D.
Parkour can make you or break you, each of which I have experienced. ~Feel the Flow~ "Don't think with your balls, think with your brain." -Houston

Ahh. i had that. For about 3 weeks it was all i could think about. But the problem was i only thought about crazy things like flips and high jumps. i was a parkour nut. but after much thinking and training i got past that. I realized the "true" part of parkour. Flow and essentials. So yes, i was an ignorant jackass thinking daredevil! shame on me!!!

 ;D ;D ;D

Whoa! some one came up with a name for me sitting in third hour...when suddenly out of the blue the though goes through my mind

"I should jump of something" the next thing i know...My teacher is screaming at me for vaulting a desk...or jumping off this wall in the classroom...

Or i'll just be chillin in town...and suddenly...i am running at some 7 foot wall

Parkour fever...awesome
