edit: MAP
http://www.virginia.edu/webmap/ACentralGrounds.html We will be meeting at spot 22 on the map. It's a huge outdoor Ampitheatre. I was just informed that there is a FOOTBALL game this weekend, so parking will be fairly tricky... I'll get details down to you asap.

We haven't had a statewide jam in Virginia for 2 or 3 years now! I think it's time to bring it back

I finally have gathered all the details and information so I'm writing to inform you all of WHATS GOING DOWN!!!!!
Friday Oct. 3rd
We will be arriving at Charlottesville and finding our residences. We'll probably have everyone meet at some food place for a pre-jam traceur dinner. Everyone goes back to their places to sleep.
Saturday Oct. 4th
Jam will commence at 10AM at University of Virginia. We will be meeting at the outdoor Atrium which I will locate on a map and post up here in a bit.
We'll have a nice warm up session, followed by quick chat to welcome everyone, then we'll start spot hopping

At around noon-1pm or so, we'll break for food. There's a ton of food places in Charlottesville and I think the local UVA guys can actually get us some food at the university dining halls for a small discount.
After lunch we'll keep jamming, probably until 6 or 7PM. If we finish up at UVA (which I highly doubt, it's HUGEEEE) we will move in to the downtown area.
I don't have anything planned for Sunday so I say Saturday we peace out and head home, or if you want you can spend the night again at your temporary residence and leave Sunday morning. While at the jam we may decide to go ahead and do something Sunday but for now consider this a one full day jam
Details!!!Location: Charlottesville, VA -- UVA Campus
Transportation: Bring your own car! Try to carpool! Parking is easy to find.
Residences: We have 3 people offering housing at the moment.
--
Billy Hay (22/25): FULL. A Virginia tech student, offered to house all the VT guys (since we have about 25 coming hahaha)
--
Julian O. (0/10?): UVA Club Leader, this dude's the MAN! Not sure how many he can house, he's going to update me but he's probably very close to campus.
--
CulvertSpelunker (0/15 TENTS): A local traceur of the area. He owns a HUGE backyard and is letting people camp there.
"Yeah, I'm happy to offer my backyard, for the night of the 3rd through the afternoon of the 5th. I have about two acres that people can camp on, provided they bring their own tent. I have a cottage behind my house where people can use the bathroom. There's also a spot for a fire. Make sure everyone knows that there can't be any alchohol, though."--
Other locals: Julian is trying to hook up housing with some of the other local traceurs from the area. They'll probably be able to host a small part of 4 or 5 at the max, but we can move people around.
So there you have it. If you really want to camp you may at Culvert's place. If worse comes to worse we have a backup house willing to hold a bunch of folks, but it's not really something he'd like to force on his parents.
If you are coming, PLEASE EMAIL ME, leon@americanparkour.com, POST IN THIS THREAD, and TAKE DOWN MY CELL (7o3)88seven - 89four8 Tell me where you would prefer to stay (Julian/locals/Culvert) and how many you plan on bringing. Thank you all and hope to see you all !!
