Age: 17
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 185
Date started: Tuesday, April 28 '09(but it will be Wednesday by the time I finish writing :P)

I have never posted before so I hope i don't post something incredibly stupid. I have never done parkour/free running before about 3 weeks ago. I always loved watching videos and wished I could so I finally decided to start. I have done martial arts before and found that a lot of the moves transfer over. Especially rolls(which we called ukemi) which I was always good at/liked to do in class. Hopefully the conditioning of ju-jitsu transfers over as well :P

Goals:
1. Get a six pack :)
2. Get a license so I can drive downtown :P
3. Learn a back flip
4. Learn a wall flip
5. Learn a front flip
6. Do 10 pull ups (I'm at 6)
7. Do 10 one handed push ups(I can already do about 4)
8. Eat better
9. Drink more water
10. Bench my own weight(40 pounds off when I last tried)
11. Learn parkour's basic movements

Wow I have a lot of goals :P I wanted to post some that I know I can do semi-soon so I don't get discouraged.

Cardio:
I rode my bike for maybe 20 minutes, then I had to go to the hospital since the person that needed to go wasn't allowed to drive themselves.

The hospital had a little nature walk thing that actually had some good parkour opportunities. I practiced precision jumps and vaults for a couple of hours while I waited.

Weight Training:
45 seconds of each exercise followed by a 15 second break. Then the next exercise. I repeated it 3 times.
Ball Pushup(feet on ball)
Squat with resistance band
45 degree Lat Pull down with bands
Hamstring Curl with exercise ball
Tricep Pressdown with bands
Biceps cirls with bands
Arm to Leg ball Exchange
Pushup Superman w/ Alternating Arms





Goals:
2. Get a license so I can drive downtown
 -practiced driving with my permit :)
5. Learn a front flip
 -practiced a little at school
11. Learn parkour's basic movements
 -practiced vaults and jumps at hospital
