"My Family's got guts"
« on: September 17, 2008, 12:19:55 PM »
A few days ago on nickelodeon, it posted saying it's going to start a new show called "My family's got guts." And like after 3 mins. it mentioned the obstacle course is called Free Run City and based off of parkour. My first response was what?!! All these people are strapped in and they're doing somethings not even parkour related!! My second response was "Parkour sure is spreading..."

What do you think?

The best I could find is to go to www.nick.com and click on the "My Family's Got Guts" link.

Oh wow! A remake that actually has the potential to be better than the original. Now I have to get my  family out to train. Must win.  :-Sarcasm

I've noticed that ever since i started parkour, (3 months ago) it's really been picking up and spreading around. It's great to know! Maybe one day you'll see traceurs as common as seeing basketball players.

There strapped in?
Well I suppose for nickelodean thats understandable  :P

I'm not too sure I like this. This will be viewed by many little kids
and they might be tempted to go out and try parkour without
any training....just because it looks cool.

on the other hand hopefully those kids can meet experienced
traceurs and get deeply involved! This will spread parkour but
I hope in the right light.
