Visiting Colorado
« on: August 20, 2008, 08:59:49 AM »
Hi guys,

I wonder if I can jump somewhere in Denver at some interesting spots? I'll be visiting USA during September and I've found your web site.

Cheers

I'm coming from Buglaria on August 28th. For 4 weeks but I'm trying to reduce it to 3 weeks which is difficult with Lufthansa :(

OK, so I'll look for Cat leap Fontine, Precision Fountain and Skyline Park... and people jumping around :)

These are the most mentioned spots on the forum here as far as I see :)

Cheers

I was today at Boulder. It's so beautiful there ...

Any google maps directions on that spots you mentioned and when you jump there? Also do you do any gyms training here ?

Skyline Park and Red Rocks are on this map, along with other cool spots. Usually a decent amount of traceurs meet up at Skyline Park on Friday nights around 5.

Yeah there's classes in a gym on Saturdays, and a gymnastics gym some traceurs frequent.

cool, I'll try to find that fountain on Friday then.

And Google maps for the gym? :) Also is it possible to visit it for just several training sessions or there are some monthly plans only ?

The gym where the classes are taught is here. Yeah you can drop in for each class individually.  :)

That map I linked to was a bit crowded so I linked each individual spot on its own to make it easier.  :)

Skyline Park (Cat and Precision Fountain)

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

CATS Gymnastics Gym.

10x man,
I'll try to come at Friday and Saturday to train with you guys then. Are these the only training? When you meet at the Amphitheater?

Actually I was at that Pearl street in Boulder yesterday. If I knew that the gym is there maybe I was going to take a loot at it :)

Sweet Ill be there Saturday definitely :)

We don't have scheduled meets for Red Rocks but I'm sure a few of us could put together a date or something?

That's really about it for right now.

Don't worry mate. I'll try to be on time at Friday night 5pm. What's the time for the gym in Saturday when you are going to train?

I was to Evergreen today and on the way back we pass near that Amphitheater. It looks awesome from distance :)

Yeah its nice :) the beginner level ones are like that, intermideate is more just practicing different techniques on your own and with everyone else, you'll see its pretty fun :) definitely worth coming to.

I think I've found today that Cat Fountain. And nobody was there :) And there was water in it. It's near Arapaho and 17th I think and some Quest building were visible from there. Is that the place ?

What about tomorrow? I'm thinking of coming for the intermediate classes at 1pm. Maybe around 12.30pm for warming ... Is that ok?

Oh man, I found it. And there were only children today :(

They told me it's from Monday to Thursday for adults from 8-10pm with $5 drop fee for the CATS gym. Maybe I'll check it on Monday.

How old are you? :)
