According to the ruler it's 36.5 inches.  I'm not obese in any way but I'm not sure how bad this is.

I'll make that one of my goals ;D

Today's workout:

10 Hill Sprints.  At the top of each sprint, pushups will go: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 and diamond pushups: 3-3-3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1

Post Workout Meal: Smoothie with 2 scoops of Met-Rx Lean Protein Powder (23 grams of protein, 3 carbs per scoop), milk, banana, peanut butter, and cinnamon.

Pretty tired, but I'm gonna go down to a playground near my house and work on pullups, chinups, pushups, broad jumps and rows. 

30 Chinups
50 Rows
30 Pushups

Too tired from yesterday to do anything else.

Dumbbell Thrusters: 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2
Burpees: 8, 6, 4, 2
Dumbbell Overhead Press: 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2
Front Plank: 20 seconds, 10 seconds, 10 seconds

Finished in a little more than 15 minutes.  I'll try this every Thursday until I can get my time below 9 minutes.

2 Mile Run Tonight.  Going to track the time of the run (2.06 miles)

Time was about 26 minutes.  I was slowed a lot by a really sharp muscle pain in my side that wouldn't go away.  I'll time this run each time I do it.

I dont understand that workout -- did u do them in a row and cycle through...6 rounds for time?

my diet during wrestling season:
Nothing ha it is actually one of the least efficient ways of losing weight, other than going on the krispy cream diet haha. i need to get a better diet for wrestling. :-\

Got 2 books about 2 different diets.  Gonna pick up the zone book tomorrow.  I'm just trying to learn about different ideas, and dieting in general.

Don't do isolationist movements (calf raises and shin raises) as part of your metabolic conditioning.

Rather, put them before the workout in a sets/rep scheme.  You will see more benefits from them this way.

9/28/08:

Joined MapMyRun.com today.  I'm going to be doing a running distance challenge that I joined on there.  The goal is to run a total of 40 miles in a month.  I'll be running around 2 miles everyday in order to reach this goal.

To start, I'll be doing a quick 1 mile run, and about 40 pushups.

Ran the mile in about 10 minutes.
