Pressure! Had a good idea

okay, so I'm not really doing any pressuring


So I didn't really know where to put this, I figured once it was done it would get lost in the abyss of dead threads.

Anyways! I just had a great idea! My dad's the director of parks and recreation for the city of lansing, so I decided to talk him slowly into trying to get parkour into one of the gymnastic class things. It would get the word out on parkour and it would give kids a chance to meet experienced traceurs in a safe area for all of the paranoid parents ((mine...)) I think it's a pretty snazzy idea, any tips on talking to officials ((or parents)) about this stuff?

So I talked to my dad, I asked him first about a class and second about putting up some obstacles in a gym. He told me that there aren't any people in Lansing who do parkour. The conversation ended there and I'm taking it as a yes, if I find some people in this area ;) Write to Murdock!

Chris Price is in East Lansing at MSU, he's experienced and talented. One thing you really need to consider is who will be teaching these "classes".

Yea, that's another one of his concerns. I'm sure as hell not teaching anything. I guess it was more of a spur of the moment kinda thing. I definitely didn't think the hard stuff out. Maybe I can convince him to put in more rails in the city XD
