I started back somewhere in 2007, watching American Gladiators, and WAY before that, Ninja Warrior. I've had a real passion to compete on both/either show, so I figured out real early that a sport like this would be great training for them, it was just that I didn't know what it was called, or anything spefically like that (At the time I just figured it was basic tricking. I had no idea what its name was, let alone how vast Parkour is).
My new years resolution was to both start working out at a gym, as well as eventually compete on a show (If I could only choose one, it would be Ninja Warrior), so I began that. However, it was in May that I officially discovered Parkour, and began in June, as a birthday present to myself, training in Cottonwood Creek Park. I've since become lazy in working out, but had been practicing for the show, and practicing Parkour heavily ever since.
(On a side note, for those who watch, it was suprise and excitement when I discovered Brian O. and Levi M. are both on the APK forum, and even bigger excitement when I found out Brian and Ruselis are going to the COPK, so I'll be in the presence of greatness
