lolololololololol before you even do roll i would suggest landing a couple times with the crouch alnd ive been training for 1 WEEK and can kind of roll and i climbed to the top of a 13-15 foot wall and then some park police guy yelled at me and i had to drop to the bottom and do the crocuh land and it didnt hurt at all so i would suggest practicing that way

You just rendered this whole discussion worthless.

Also, I don't believe you jumped off 13 feet and didn't f**k up your knees. Don't exaggerate heights.

And if you're joking, then you're an ass.

The drop doesn't worry me as much as the progression you have been doing. Have you been training by conditioning, or taking progressively higher drops? Once you start to drop higher than your own body height, it becomes indefinitely bad for you. This drop sounds like a fun feat and accomplishment, but it isn't healthy no matter how well you do it. I suggest you do a HUGE warm-up, a few rolls before hand, and when you're done... call it complete with the big drops and work on faster, more shallow jumps.

Just train safely and intelligently, then 15 foot drops will become seemingly nothing to do.

In general, parkour can't be good for your joints, can it? Even properly practiced... It still gives heavy wear and tear on them and such, yeah?

I'm gonna guess you really did think it was a 13 foot drop. I imagine your eyeballing skills aren't top notch though. 13 foot drop is over twice your height. I'm pretty sure you would have injured your self. My guess was it was like an 8 foot drop, and that's still kinda reckless for a kid who obviously has a LOT of learning to do.
