Sorry everyone i had to do it. This is a hi im new here post so...

The names Greg im 23 and have lived in HOCO my entire life. April 1st of this year i decided to get in better shape. I started at 309 im now some where in the 260's. when I started getting in better shape i wanted to get into rock climbing, then i found out about parkour and this sport is going to be my saving grace. So if anyone has the pactience to take an overwieght noob under your wing to help me with the basics let me know. This sport has my full dedication i just need some help. Thanx guys

Welcome, and congratulations on taking such an initiative to becoming healthier.

Where in Howard County are you?  If you are far enough north, Brian 'Doc Akh' Belida is in Westminster (Carroll County).   There are a few guys that post here in Baltimore if you are closer to the city.  Then there's a decent size group in Anne Arundle County (Glen Burnie, Pasadena, Severna Park, Arnold), and a large contingent in DC that frequents Primal Fitness and usually announces about a jam (get together to train and help each other) a month.

Many people frequent the 'Mid Atlantic' Forums that are the last 'locals only' page.  I usually suggest double posting in both the Mid-Atlantic and Maryland sections.

hahaha im a noob too we should be best friends! lol

battle toad...isn't that the "game" that gamestop never has but people order anyway as a prank??? hahaha i wanted the number to the gamestop(or was it eb games...) so i could order my copy...i heard its certain game stops that we have to call lol

ya its an old nes game plus its my xbox live gamer tag.

i live right off of rt1/ 95 about 15 min away from bmore and about 10 min away from arundle mills. Im realy close to the rt1 rt100 intersection just to give u an idea.

I'm about 15min from arundel mills right near the rt2-rt10 intersection.

There are a bunch of us down here (around 10-20 I'd say) in the Pasadena/Glen Burnie/Severna Park area that practice pretty often. There are also a number of hotspots in those areas with the main one being Anne Arundel Community College.
