Hey guys, how's everyone doing? Hope the summer's going well for everyone!

Anyways, I'm going through the initial paperwork and testing (basically all the BS) for joining the Air National Guard, and I'm wanting to get one big jam in sometime before Boot Camp starts. I'll know when boot camp is about a week from Monday, but I'm wondering where everyone would be willing to go. I know that Ohio used to be a lot busier (at least the forum) and I'd like to get it back to full capacity quick. If you're all up for it just post here and try and get friends, etc. Basically I'm just hoping to find out when's best for everyone, and where we should all go.

Thanks for the help, I really hope this works out to be something enjoyable.

Cincinnati has a group that meets on the weekends (and a few of them train throughout the week), we hold open training sessions 5 days a week here in Columbus (although they have been suspended until we come back from London in a couple weeks).

My hope is that people are out training, and not worrying so much about posting anymore, although I agree. It has been quiet on the boards for a while.

yeah, sorry man. I just meant the boards, I know you guys are at it 24/7 though, which is excellent to hear.

Anyways, want to set up a jam sometime after you guys get back?

Sounds cool, and I don't see why not. I'm sure we'll have a lot of info to share after spending three weeks in London. It will probably just be a matter of picking a weekend when OSU doesnt play at home so parking isnt impossible. We can probably set something up and announce it to get people to come, but you (and anyone else who wants to train) is always welcomed to come stay with us in Columbus. Just give us a heads up to make sure people are staying in town for that weekend, and that we'll have time to train. (Which shouldn't be a problem, but we don't typically have an organized practice on Saturday and Sunday.)

Alright, I spoke to Joe and it sounds like something we could probably do. The weekend of Oct 4 is the first non-home football weekend. How does that tentatively sound? This is still VERY unofficial, but just sorta kicking the idea around. We could train down at Battelle (where the seminar in May was held), and/or on High Street (the main north-south street East of campus).

We should be able to host people etc.

How does that weekend sound?

That sounds good, early October would be great for me, although not many are posting here.... I'll call Mike (Sheeve) this week sometime and ask if he can make it too)

Well this thread is a little off the beaten path. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to get some people to come. But at any rate, we've got a group of at least like 10 here in Columbus so we'll be able to have a decent crowd either way. We'll probably announce it on the national jams forum once its official to get more exposure, send a facebook message out to the people in our facebook group, and send an email to everyone registered on our website. Should be fun!

Ok, this is going to happen. We just need to get some graphics together and we'll be posting it up (probably later tonight).

Feel free to come visit any time you want to. We'll probably be able to host ya.

Good luck in CC! I ran CC/track for St. X when I was in high school.

DANGIT... I MIGHT be able to go to the one tomorrow, not sure yet. I'm going to try to see whether or not someone can cover for me at work, then I'll try.
