I'm strongly considering the University of Michigan in my college search for next year, and was just curious about the PK scene.
I'm sure it's probably not like the MD/VA/DC area, but are there any Traceurs in or around Ann Arbor??
Edit: After looking at the list i saw about 7-8. Just wondering, do any of you go to U-Michigan? Do you train together, and if so how often? Any nice spots up there?

Hey man, ya I dont know how many of those people still visit these forums some were just a one time thing, but Im sure there are at least a few around there. Now I am actually planning on going to UofM in the fall of 2007 (havent applied yet, but im confident), if thats when you are, so if there isnt a group we can make one!

But really I hope that's not the most important thing in deciding a college.

BTW are you coming out of HS, or transferring?

I'm a High School Senior from Maryland. I applied for Freshmen admission next year (class of 2010). And you??

ive been going to the community college here in TC. Im on my second year so technically when I transfer Ill be a junior, but those things kinda loose their meaning in college anyways.

By next year, do you mean next school year ie. this fall, or next year next year, as in fall 2007? I suppose if your a senior now, you probly mean this year, but it seems a little late to be applying. I could be wrong though, i dont mean to discourage you.

I meant that I am considerng going there in the fall of this year (2006).

I live in Ann Arbor and will probably be going to Eastern Michigan University in the fall, so I'll be around.

OOOhhh, I forgot to update this... I got into U-Michigan Engineering.
Being the indecisive looser I am, I'm still deciding between Michigan and Maryland.

What's the scene like up there? Have any of you guys ever done any training on the campus - any good spots?
How about the rest of Ann Arbor?

I guess if I end up going there I'll have to spearhead a club at the university

There are tons of great spots, I've lived in Ace Deuce (as us locals have come to affectionatly know it) my entire life and know it well. Which reminds me, if a couple people would be willing and able to come down to Ann Arbor for a day or a weekend, I would gladly host an jam...maybe I'll post an interest thread right now...

It's been a whie since I've posted here... but I move in on the 31st!
I'm gonna be busy with school, but I'd like to set up a weekly training session early in the year.
I figure if we start training soon we'll get in a groove by the time winter rolls around.
