« on: June 12, 2008, 04:05:52 PM »
K, I've been trying my roll for a few weeks now, and on grass and sometimes concrete I can get a good roll, however, when I come up from it after a few rolls I get a sharp pain in my thigh. thanks in advance

Do you stretch before you train? Maybe its a pull. Do you feel it when doing everyday activities? Could be a small tear?

Im not soo good with thighs but I would suggest Icing it to tighten up your muscles than applying something hot to loosen up the knots

Best of luck

Actually,I thought it was from hitting my foot down too hard, but I'll remember to stretch more. Also, it's right below my left hip where it hurts.

Ok so least we know where its coming from.... When you roll your foot shouldn't be hitting the ground hard it should be going with the flow.... also if you were slamming your foot down the pain wouldn't move to the thigh area it would hurt probably your ankle or your shins
