Would the Univeristy of Maryland be a good spot to Jam? It looks like it'll be a cool place for alot of stuff.

It's been a while since I've been on campus but it's great for skating/skateboarding so I fully expect it to be great for PK.  I've been wanting to jam there ever since I got into PK last summer.

There used to actually be Jams at UMD-CP at least once a summer, however the individual that ususallyorganized them (Quetzalcoatl) moved to Boston, and since then nobody has really taken the initiative to revisit the area with a big "Jam".  I have jammed there three or four times, and I found it to be a very good campus to spend a day or two traversing.  I have actually wanted to revisit it because there are a few things that I could not do the last time I was there that I would like to try now.

Now, if you are referring to UM-BC, I am afraid that I have never been there, so I have no advice for you in that regard.

UMD would be a good place to meet up at. We need to organize another jam up there sometime soon. Currentley im out of commision due to grades but give it a couple of weeks and well set something up.

yo, when i was on the station coming from wilson shs from doing some pk by myself, i saw that there are 2 stops for UMD which one would i get off to get there?

U would take the Green line towards Greenbelt and get off at the College Park - U of MD station.  U exit the station and make your way to Calvert road where you hang a left.  Then hang a left onto Paint Branch Parkway and walk about a 1/2 miles up to RT 1 and you should see the campus across the street.
