Trained some parkour for a couple of hours for the first time in a month or so. Just did some precisions and basic movement. Felt nice to get outside!

Went to open gym today

Warmed up with some precisions and such. Worked on double kongs! Also standing websters and drifting palmflips.

Whew these 365'ers are keeping me on my toes!

Last night I night missioned, got a few good climbs in and hit a roof gap that I've only done once before. It was considerably less scary this time which felt good.

Today was the first day of the three-day APEX Movement Parkour Instructor Certification that I'm taking. It's an 8-hour session for three consecutive days. Most of today was lecture, and we ran through the first three classes, doing benchmarks (got 19 pull-ups, 31 push-ups in 1 min, and 9'3" broad jump) practicing QM, landings and rolls, basic gymnastics and Ukemi.

After that I lifted a little bit.

Squat
1x5 135
1x5 185
1x5 205
3x5 255

APEX Cert Day 2

Ran through more classes, precisions, balance, vaults, swinging, wall runs, tic tacs. Did a scaled down workout which was 5 box jumps, 6 plant plyos, and 7 pull-up negatives for 5 minutes. I got 2 rounds plus one set of box jumps.

APEX Cert Day 3

Ran through level 1 freerunning class, some obstacle courses, 10 sec and creativity drills, level 3 climb-ups, gymnastic bodyweight conditioning and weightlifting. Also did level 2 benchmarks, I got 8' vault exit distance, 39" wall run vertical and 16.5 seconds for 5 climb-ups for time. Could've done better but the first two were hard in Vibrams.

Trained a bit today, went to jumpstreet and drilled front spins to the right (used to have them on left but relearning them) then slant gainers to corks. And a couple backfulls. Then Apex and just trained random parkour, muscle ups, climbups, etc, lifted a bit, Squat 1x5 135 and 2x5 205. Also got the Slammin' (Salmon) ladder for the first time, 4 times in a row :D

Havent been able to train as much as I'd like this past month because of school. Today, however, I worked open gym at APEX. Played around a bit, mostly drilled some wall fronts but I didn't stick any on the cement wall. Tried a couple wall sides, got around on one but didn't land it. Drilled a few left side flips as well.

Lots of progress. Started the 365 on February 29th! In the past month I got wall sides outside, cart-fulls, got my gainers back, and j-steps. As well as a lot of awesome parkour training. Anywho today I trained for a bit with Jake and Chris, also stuck this precision I'd been eyeing since the beginning of the school year. :D
