Arthritis and Food

I finally got around to reading this after I found it on the CF boards.

I'm not sure how many of you think about the future possibilities of our joints, but I do a lot.

Is this the report written by one of the CF members. I remember there being talk of some really well written report on nightshades from one of the regulars there.

I don't have problems myself, and I only generally eat nightshades every so often. I am however interested in following research that follows up on these studies; potatoes in particular, which I rarely include in my diet anymore.

Dr. G (Garret Smith), yeah.

I would quite literally die if I had to exclude spicy foods from my diet.  I'd rather deal with joint problems in my old age than forgo the occasional spicy meal.

I brought this up more along the lines of possible future problems.  I don't have problems nor believe I will.  My family isn't prone to arthritic problems and I don't worry about my diet at all.  It's just that [collectively] we get hammered with comments on how our joints are going to hell with what we do.  And being a young sport, there isn't any anecdotal info on the subject.
