Parkour/Freerunning in Jackson
« on: May 15, 2008, 12:10:14 PM »
Are there any traceurs in Jackson or the surrounding cities?  I'd really like somebody to run with.

don't know if this post is late, but i have started getting into parkour and am also looking for someone to run with. I'm not very experienced, but am looking for someone who is. a somewhat good place to run is Highland Village near the McDade's off of Old Canton Road. don't know if that's close to you or not.

I'm out with an injury right now, but I can put you in contact with some other guys who have expressed interest.

Highland Village, really? I just assumed that security would run you out.  :D

and i haven't really been to highland village to run yet, as i just started back up, but it seems like it would be a good place. what injury are you out with?

I'm 15 also... and live in brandon...

I was walking around highland village thinking "this would be awesome to free run in!" but ALAS! I had on sandals at the time!

Security is'nt to bad as long as your not completely oblivious, maybe having someone watch while you run is a good idea though.. and remember: They cant see you if you back up to the top of the roof!

P.S. It's Yuppie central there...

This summer I'll be living about 30 seconds jog from Highland Village. I will definitely check it out.
