Caitlin Black:
*APK username/forum name: Black33

*Location: Southeast Idaho, but soon to be Utah

*Requesting a mentor or Volunteering to be a mentor?: Requesting a mentor.

*I would prefer it if my mentor/mentoree would contact me via: email

*Practicing parkour since: About last week :)

*Other athletic/physical experience: Soccer for 4 years

*(Mentorees) Please list any specific goals and/or concerns you have about your parkour practice: Well, I wouldn't say I've officially started training yet.  I have pretty good coordination, and I'm working on getting in shape because my upper body is pretty weak.  I have a problem with mental blocks, though.  I convince myself that things are harder than they actually are.  Also, I live in a really rural area and don't have many places to train.

*Do you have a specific mentor/mentoree that you would prefer to be paired with?: no

*Any additional comments: I'm 18 and I'll be starting college in about a month.  I'm worried I won't have time to train.  But I really want to learn parkour and I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me out a little. :)

*Requesting a mentor

*I would prefer it if my mentor/mentoree would contact me via PM or email

*Practicing parkour since:  I practiced parkour in 2011/2012.  I went through some life changes, started crossfit, and took a break.  I am looking to get back into it more aggressively than before

*Other athletic/physical experience: I am a crossfitter, I like to lift heavy.  Can do pullups (strict and kipping), pushups, etc.  Still working on strength.

*(Mentorees) Please list any specific goals and/or concerns you have about your parkour practice:
I would like to improve my gymnastic skills for crossfit.
I want to be able to express myself through parkour in ways I cannot do in crossfit.  I truly want to be functionally fit and express that through freerunning/parkour.

*Do you have a specific mentor/mentoree that you would prefer to be paired with? No

*Any additional comments:
I am a teacher, so my time is limited right now, but in the summer I will have much more free time!  I can't wait to start relearning parkour.
