Unspoken Bond
by Chris Kessler
I do not speak your language, Perhaps I never will. I do not know your customs, Your ways, your family, your skill. But, what I do know is your movement. I know your steps, your strength, your fear. I do not know your culture, But, through motion, we are distinctly near. You are my brother, Though we will never share a family. You are my equal, Though you will never meet me. Through years of reflection, I have come to realize, Distance is not an obstacle; It is only a thin disguise.
