Took me a little bit to figure out the subs, so if anyone else is having trouble:

1. Click (or hover over) the arrow in the lower right

2. In the pop up menu, click (or hover over) the arrow next to the box labeled "CC" (closed captions)

Great interview. I have a friend who's really interested in parkour and I'm trying to guide him in the right direction, but he's totally obsessed with looking cool. Maybe hearing it straight from Belle's mouth will help :P

i've never done parkour for the flash or fame of being able to do a trick but i do enjoy pushing my limits when doing a flip and i agree you shouldn't do to impress your friend but only for yourself and i do flips and spin for myself, but its just a thought.

I'll admit that when I first started doing Parkour and Freerunning that I wanted to just look cool. But as you grow more mature in your 'traceur state of mind' you realize looking cool is the least of what you wanna gain out of doing it.

Thanks Belle for this. I hope this spreads more and more.

thank you David Belle. I know a lot of people probably need to hear that so that the spirit of parkour can flourish how it was meant to.

This video has been out for awhile... Nonetheless, it's a great video. Thank you David Belle.

Props to whoever did the captions, this is great for explaining to anyone, especially your parents, what parkour is.

Superbe!
