The Samson stretch is a great precurser to any workout, combining balance and flexibility throughout the entire body.
1. Interlace your fingers and raise them overhead so your palms are facing the ceiling, engaging your shoulders up and towards your ears.
2.) Step forward into a lunge position with the knee of the rear leg touching the ground.
3.) Stretch your hands up, and stretch/sink into the lunge. Look up towards the ceiling.
4.) Maintain balance and hold for 3-5 seconds, repeat on other side.
