APK Warmup

Workout: Density Protocol. For a review of the EDT protocol, check out: 4-18-06

Each block of time will feature two exercises. Alternate between them, attempting to perform as many reps of each as possible before time is up. Starting with higher-repped sets and finishing with doubles and singles seems to do the trick:

First round 10:00-

Handstand Pushups

Pistols

Second round 10:00-

Pullup

Leg Lift

Post total reps for each exercise to comments. Compare to 9-29-06 (LINK! http://www.americanparkour.com/content/view/869/249/)

Appropriate substitutions-

Handstand Pushups- slow lowering against wall, Handstand hold, inclined, regular or decline pushups

Pistols- assisted with broomstick or doorway, pistols onto stair or other raised object, slow squats

Pullup- Slow lowering pullup

Leg-Lift- L or V hold, Bent-knee hold, one-legged bent or straight knee hold (check out the excellent article from Coach Sommer HERE )

I did 30 hspu in 5 mins but din't do the pistols.

First round I concentrated on the movement, not so much on 'escalating density'. 
 
I think 3 rounds, 5 full range hspu's on para's (mostly just lowering). Pistols on a ramp with approximately 5 degrees decline. 
 
Second round I did many sets with just 2 to 5 slow reps. Pullups slow from dead hang, Leg lifts also slow, a short stop at 90 degree angle.

I just signed up, now how do you do a pistol?Im kinda new to Parkour, or "Freerunning" you can probibly tell by now.I can do 10 hspu in 2 min, and Im only 13.
