APK Warmup

Workout: 10 rounds for time: 

10 burpees

20 Jump-rope Double Unders (rope makes two passes per jump) 

Post time to comments 

Try as hard as possible to complete the jump rope as double-unders, even if they are not consecutive. Simply working the skill will bring vast improvement.

oooh... this will be the first WOD where I can actually compare my performance to a previous one! The 7-14-06 workout was the second WOD I ever did. I did some sprinting and L-pullup attempts today (I rested legs most of last week due to my patellar tendon acting up), but I'll hit this one up tomorrow. I can't wait to see how my score compares!

I can only do so much here at my dorm. I dont have time to go to the gym right now, but maybe later. I did 20 pushups, 25 squats, and 10 burpees. I wish I could do pullups here but there isn't anywhere to do them :( I like this workout plan tho.

APK W/U w/leg lifts (3xI, 3xII) 
10 Front handsprings 
13 Back tucks 
 
Workout as RXed, time: 17:58 
 
The last time I did this workout was WOD 8-7-06
 
I realized that I was doing burpees wrong, I never did the pushup. I think this was an artifact from when I first started these and could barely do a few pushups in a row, so I scaled it back. Given that I did the burpees right this time (and didn't last time), I'd say just over 2 minutes of improvement is quite good!

Did todays WOD and it made me realize that I'm still unfit. 
 
Couldn't do double unders do I did 400 normal rope skips. 
Did all 100 burpees as well. 
 
Took me exactly 24 minutes, I really need to improve.

Well i already worked out before this was post so i'll post my results. 
 
2 rounds of 
15 Pushups 
15 Diamond 
15 Wide 
50 Situps 
20 V-Ups 
And a few L-sits to press handstands

Didn't do the jump squat part of the burpee . . . only the pushup w/ a regular squat. My legs were kind of beat from the previous 2 day's workouts so my time for the workout suffered a bit. I was on a 20 minute pace easy until the last 3 and a half sets or so. Double-unders are getting easier and easier :D
