I did mine earlier today (Sunday)...after nearly 2.5 months of no running, I wasn't too terribly disappointed: 25:13

I ate too soon beforehand, though, and felt sick about halfway through...that part wasn't too fun. I think that if I'm not coming off of being sick, and I have some more recovery under my belt, I might be able to bring it down below previous times before too long! Until then...HAVE FUN :D

Since I ran 3.5 miles in about 24 minutes Saturday, I wanted to clock it to get an exact. Then I mapped out another route so I have 2 different 5K's to run.

Total was 6.8 miles on the bike in about 45 minutes (DC traffic)

For my records, 5k = sidewalk between gatehouse & memorial. 5K 2= 1/2 way over Rock Creek Bridge on Mass Ave.

APK Warmup (34:45)
5K run for time: 32:32

Probably ran 4 miles. It was about 30 degrees with cold blowing snow, some hills, slushy slippery snowy footing the entire way.

17. 03-21-2006 06:38

Went between 4.5 and 4.75 miles in 40 minutes and some change.

Btw, 5K = 3.14 miles or roughly 3-1/8 miles
