Cindy's ugly cousin Margeret...

APK Warmup

Workout: Cindy's Ugly Cousin "Margaret"- Similar to the Crossfit Benchmark "Cindy" (5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 squats for 20 minutes) this workout will involve as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes, with a couple of ugly changes:

5 L- Pullups

10 Divebomber Pushups

15 Jump Squats

Post rounds completed and substitutions required to comments.

Appropriate Subs:

L-Pullups: Mix 5 leg or knee lifts with 5 pullups, 5 knee lifts with 5 jumping pullups, 5-count raised-knee hold with 5 pullup negatives (slowly lowering)

Divebombers: 10 regular pushups, knee pushups, 1/2 divebombers

Jump Squats: 15 regular squats, 15-count wall-squat hold

posting up under "gear":  
5 rounds in 20-I subbed jumping kips for the L-pull ups. I could have moved a little faster, but I didn't. I'm taking it kind of slow seeings how I'm coming for a big slacking off break :p

9 rounds+2 l-pull ups 
Subbed jump-squats with squats. 
Also, the last 2 or so of the divebombers and l-pull ups could have been better.

500m run in 4:00 
Joint rotation, dynamic stretches 
APK warmup 32:30, quite hard today 
 
WOD Wed 3-15-06 
Original: 
"Cindy's Ugly Cousin "Margaret" 
In 20 minutes, do as many rounds as possible of:  
5 L- Pullups 
10 Divebomber Pushups 
15 Jump Squats 
 
Subbed: 
5 5-count knee holds with pullup negatives 
10 normal or knee pushups 
15 jump squats 
 
Did 6 rounds in 20 minutes with 15 seconds to spare. Legs were jelly, I walked like a drunk for 5 minutes. I almost "copped out" with the Cindy, glad I didn't.

Heading up to Kelly's for the night so I won't be around to post up. Going to do this at her house so I'll post my results in tomorrow's WoD when I get back!

i didnt get around to posting yesterday so here it is. i didnt have a handy timer so i only had my first attempts timed: 
 
wall handstand - 80 sec. 
subbed l sit for l pullups - 12 reps 
front plank - 125 sec. 
side plank - 60 sec. 
 
will post up tonight's workout later.

i feel like i should have done more, hmm

5 full rounds and i began L pull ups. and sort of like frosti i feel like i should have gotten more done. although i also danced for 3 hours today...

Limiting factors: disconcerting click in my collar bone on EVERY DB pushup 
yawing like crazy since it's 12:05 
garlicky dinner. yuck.

After going for a 15 minute run or so with Kelly, followed by doing some pilates with her [half the fun was watching :p] did the workout! 
 
6 rounds of which the last was regular pullups and regular squats!

Somehow couldn't manage straight-legged L-pullups so did them with bent legs :/
