This was submitted to American Parkour a few days ago, and we just wanted to share with you this success story, as well as highlight and congratulate the Oklahoma Parkour community.
"Hello American Parkour,
I just wanted to take a moment a let you know about the success we
have been having in Oklahoma Parkour. This past Saturday was on of our
monthly jams in Oklahoma City, and 21 people turned out. To put this in
proper perspective, OKPK held two jams in October and September and had
a minimal turnout of 7 people or less. Just prior to September, OKPK
had canceled all regular meetings due to a lack of interest. OKPK was
more of a "whatever, whenever" situation."
Read More for the rest of the letter, and find out how they solved their problem of lack of interest with amazing success!

In October, several members of OKPK decided to follow APK's
example, and branch out. OKPK has now started a page on facebook,
twitter, youtube, and is presently working on a Myspace page. The
November Jam was posted on the event boards on said pages, and on
Saturday, November 14th, OKPK had their largest jam turnout to date!
Thank you APK for all of your efforts in helping to connect
traceurs/traceuses through the discussion boards. Without your efforts
and passion, none of OKPK's recent achievements could have been possible.
A few pictures and a video were taken of the OKC Jam 11.14.09.
While the video quality is VERY amateur in nature, OKPK is working on
the problem, and hopes to have a more professional media section in the
near future.
