Mental WOD:

"Physics is to math what sex is to masturbation." Richard Feynman

Quantum Mechanics, or- science meets non-deterministic philosphy.

Chaos Theory, or- mathmatics meets extreme sensitivity to initial conditions...

From quantum mechanic on one end of the spectrum (reductionist to the point of non determinism) and chaos theory on the other end (broadly encompassing and infinitude of detail) there arises a world-view of almost mythological occurance that underlies all worldy interactions. All is not what it seems to our narrow scope of human vision.

The aspect of these ideas that strikes me the most is that whether you are reducing matter to it's smallest parts (quantum theory in particle physics) or trying to understand dynamical systems (chaos theory and mathematical equivilents of turbulence) there occurs this underlying idea that everything is inexorably linked on every level. This is a strange scientific/mathematical parallel to the idealogical basis for many of the world's age-old philosophies.

However without talking about it, it may appear as only physical movement. Both the macro and the micro are, in my opinion, necessary.

Good point, but in what way do you associate macro/micro with talking/doing? Are they of some different scale?

I'll give you a hint, the idea of order in chaos combined with the idea of non-existence within existence is a good starting point

When you examine parkour within the perspective of quantum mechanocs the fit is amazing. Running any trail will yield an infinite amount of possibilites, each choice we make for overcoming obstacles and barriers will affect the upcoming. We don't have a script. We just have pure joy in experiencing probabilites with split second decisions
