Turn Vault PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 26 February 2006

A turn vault is less of a vault, and more of a movement used to drop from a higher place than is practical to jump straight down from. In a turn vault, you vault over the wall or railing, leaving your hands on top of the object, swinging around 180 degrees, then planting your feet against the object. From here you can drop to the ground. The French term for this is Demi Tour.

These animations are awesome. I wish a place where endless turn vaults onto tiered platforms like that actually existed.
