This new video from traceur.ru is so incredible, it warranted a second update today. This amazing video features a russian traceur moving through some beautiful urban environments... blindfolded. With amazingly high video quality and a beautiful audio track, the video has a very cinematic feel to it. I HIGHLY recommend checking this video out.

Oh wow. The end is just hilarious. Can't even tell you how many times I feel like I or someone I know does something awesome and it's immediately followed by random clumsiness.

Also, I'ma hafta call shennanigans on him being completely blind, if not wholly because I need to still feel like I should even keep trying after seeing coordination like that.

:cry this makes me want to quit Parkour! this is so amazing though it inspires me at the same time.

i dont think there is a video out there that can make a traceur want to quit parkour... only inspires him/her

I think he can see through it. still makes things a bit impared.... awesome stuff either way.

I think it makes more sense that they did each individual piece without and then with the blindfold. I can get going through blind cause you know the area, but there is just too many spots to do what he did at the end. :/

Owowow

Amazing video though. :)

2:58 makes me question this video, appears to be a 30 foot drop and no roll...?

8. 08-29-2009 05:47

Wow. That was simply amazing! Beautiful cinematography, by the way. I love the ending!

OMG the drop at 2:58 was SOOO fake...lol

if he really did do this fully blindfolded then i say bravo... that would mean that he has reached a level at where he is so aware of hiss body that he can replicate things that he has done before even taking out the sense that we all rely on the most... and yes i can tell the huge jump was green screened...

I call bs on this. Mainly because I have experience with blind fold training, and have gone full days blind folded. There is no way anyone can move that comfortably blindfolded and do such technical/dangerous movments.

Cool video, but not reality at all. just movie magic :P

Don't believe everything you see on the internet Zac. :P

yeah... that far a drop with a roll is dangerous itself but without a roll he would have like broken his legs and cut up his hands alot, look at what his hands hit when he touches the ground

Beautifully shot. Even if I think the blindfold part was mainly a gimick, to me it was the environment that got me. And the roaming camera. Awe inspiring. I definitely want to find a place like that to practice. Maybe not live, but practice.

One thing that always makes me a little sad is to see people assume something they see on the internet is fake and just move on - why not enjoy the wonder of it and imagine if it is real? Very impressive.

Amazing videography and fantastic editing. Very cool idea for a video and well scripted as well - plus, yeah, great environment.

In regards to the big drop, if you read the youtube comments you'll note he used a safety cord (which was edited out) - very cool and well done.

Hands Down, Amazing!
It's not very often someone can find a video that has the feel like this.
Great footage, fake or not,
no matter who you are you still have to give props for that stuff!!
