Video of the Month Winner: July Print E-mail
Wednesday, 19 August 2009

APK's first 'Video of the Month' contest has been come to completion, and a winner has been chosen! Daniel and Aaron Robinson have been selected as our very first winners, and as such shall both be receiving a APK t-shirt and hoodie as of their choice. We chose their video California as it portrays parkour as an experience, not just a highlight reel, and serves as a good reminder of why we all do this in the first place

Cool video, keep up the good work. Awesome song! Band of Horses is awesome! It is always cool to see the area in Santa Monica near the pier in Parkour videos as I am not used to seeing other people train in spots I have been to.

The breakdancing and the music in this video were incredible but the actual parkour was subject for debate. In fact it wasn't really parkour at all, it was a series of poorly executed flips, precisions, and vaults. What were the other videos like is the question?

This video wasn't picked solely on the parkour in it, alot of it had to do with the feel and mood of the video, and the fact that it made us want to be along for the trip. This contest wasn't made to select the latest and and greatest, it's simply a way to get people's videos out to a larger audience and maybe get a shirt or two, and we don't want people to have to be the next Levi Meeuwenberg to do that 8)
