5 x 200m sprints

10 x 50m sprints

what does that mean? 
 
like, doing the 400m sprint twice, then 200m five times?

Yeah, run 400 meters twice, then 200 meters 5 times and then 50 meters ten times.

Um...I would love to try that, but how far is 400m? The rest I could figure out if I knew that...lol. :?

400m is a quarter mile.

OK all you posters who "can't do it." I'm a 45 year old mom. I work out on the treadmill at the gym. It took me just shy of 25 minutes to do the runs. My 400s are 2:02 and my 200s are under 1 minute even including the time it takes for the treadmill to get up to speed. Just do it and keep doing it until you can really do it.

400m is a lap on a track

400m is one lap on a track 
200m is half a lap 
50m is half of a straight 
 
If you don't have a track nearby, you could always use Google Earth's ruler tool to measure out the distance on a street.
